Before we begin, how about a refresher course on the rules?





We all have to have rules, so here are the rules for Smilie Land Usage!

#1.  No Smilies Are To Be Used On The Follow Type Sites:  Anyone caught using smilies on any pornographic sites, hate sites, anti-Christian sites, satanic sites, or any site that is not considered family friendly.  If you can not agree to this, then please find another smilie site to use.

#2.  This site runs purely by donations!  If you want to see Smilie Land continue to flourish and grow, it takes donations!  Anyone sending in a donation of any size can have a custom set of their own personal graphics added to Smilie Land for use on other message boards.  Due to the lack of donations, Smilie Land is downsizing.  It was a hard decision, but one that had to be made.

#3.  If you own a message board and you wish to link directly to Smilie Land for custom graphics on your message board for your users to use, please contact me first!  Of course you are welcome to save the smilies to your own server to use them free of charge with no strings attached.

#4.  If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or you are not certain that you are going to go to heaven, please take a moment to find out how you can be sure that you are going to heaven!  This is not mandatory, but if you knew the Truth, wouldn't you want to share it with everyone else? What were the message boards that spawned Smilie Land?  Those would be:  Cloud Ten Pictures Message Board, (now closed down), OneWayFilms Message Center, and the World Survival Role Playing Message Board!  Don't be shy, stop by and visit a few of these great Christian Message Boards today!  But thanks to the blessings from above, Smilie Land is now open to the internet to family safe and Christ believing sites!

Who puts all these smilies in one place?  That would be "cg"!  Hours and hours have been spent surfing the internet in dangerous places to gather all of the cute, clean and funny smilies into one place!  If you have some smilie graphics you would like to add, please feel free to send them to cg and she will put them up if they are family friendly.  Because of the danger of surfing the internet for smilies, we do not suggest that you head out into the internet world to gather your own smilies without first praying and then being very mindful that there are a lot of bad graphics out there.  This is the main reason that Smilie Land was born!

How many graphics are here?  There are literally thousands of free graphics here to choose from.  They are separated into categories to make finding them easier.  At last count, there was over 10,000 smilies here!  New ones will be added as they are found on the net.  The personal smilies here were made by cg's Designs, or cg unless otherwise specified by another designer.

What if I have a graphic I would like to use but it isn't here?  That's simple!  Just email it to cgs@smilieland.com and I will place it at Smilie Land for you and others to use if it is approved.  I do reserve the right to refuse to post any graphic that I feel is not appropriate for Smilie Land.

Do I have to make a donation?  No, you don't.  But without donations, Smilie Land would not be here.  It has taken several hours to complete this site.   We are talking it would take several days of working on nothing but this site to put it together.  That does not including the surfing time to find new graphics or the time to clean up or modify graphics to be used on message boards.  In other words, it takes a lot of work to bring this site to you.  God has given me the gift to be able to do this, I just ask that if you have the ability to bless me in return, it will be greatly appreciated and it will help to assure that Smilie Land will be here for a long time!

Can I use Smilie Land graphics for my smilies for my message board custom graphics?  Some message boards such as ProBoards allow you to set your smilies to smilies already available on the internet.  These custom set smilies can eat tremendous amounts of bandwidth.  Please contact Smilie Land prior to setting your board up with these smilies.  Depending upon the size and visitation of the message board, you may be asked to make a donation to the site in order to pay for the usage.

Why did you do this?  I set up Smilie Land because God gave me the gift of using the computer and knowing how to do this type of stuff.  It is my way of being able to bless others and to make a safe place for people to surf on the internet and make a bit of a colorful statement!
